Handling of liquid waste end has two ways that is throwing away end product from final pond to river body or applies liquid waste product to areal palm estate x'self so-called land aplication. To throw away liquid waste to river body must as according to quality standard which has been specified by (indonesian environment ministry) Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup No 51/menLH/10/95 About Standard Quality Of Palm oil mill effluent which not contaminate environment. While for exploiting of palm oil mill effluent wastete to land aplication must as according to (Indonesian environment ministry's regulation)Kep MenLH No. 28 the year 2003 about technical reference manual examination exploiting of Effluent from Oil palm industry at soil in palm estate.

Now we will discuss exploiting of palm oil mill liquid waste to areal plantation of palm friut.

Principal from exploiting of land aplication is not simply removing installation of water treatment of waste to areal plantation, but we also takes benefit from element of the nutrient in dilution of the waste and possibly will assist lacking of water at specified period.

Purpose of exploiting of land the application of as follow:

• Creates zero waste from every kg CPO and palm kernel which has been produced.
• Lessens making a move it pollution load out of one place of other ketempat along the length of river stream body.

• Lessens usage of fertilizer an-organik as according to element content of the nutrient.

• Increases Production of FRESH FRUIT BUNCHES.

Condition what which must fulfilled to apply land aplication?

• Makes application of permit from study land application to Pemerintahan Kabupaten/Walikota (local government), after agreed able to do research.
• Farm as possible plane in one unfolding, far from settlement but not too far from palm oil mill that installation of pipe is not too long / expensive.
• Not area of peat.
• Soil permeability bigger than 1,5 cm/hour and less than 15 cm/hour.
• Depth of soil water level less than 2 metre.
• biochemical oxygen demand BOD less than 5000 mg/l.
• pH 6-9
• Making of watcher well in three places that is; in area LA, at area non LA and areal settlement.

Before obtaining permit from making land aplication, company must do research before minimum 10-20% from wide total areal which will be applied. This minimum research stripper of 1 year to see influence or impact of applying of land aplication. What does research that is research/university institution observed by local environment bureou  and financed by company. Research only be done 1 just times for the same location. If result of research shows good result hence company can apply permit from exploiting of liquid waste equiped with one of document as follow:

• Upaya Pengelolaan Lingkudan dan Upaya Pemantauan Lingkungan UPL dan UKL
  (Management Effort of environment and environment observation effort UPL and UKL).
