Sterilizer


 

Sterilizer is a pressurized vessel (steam pressure) which is used to reduce the water content of oil palm fruit, facilitate the release of munitions and inactivate fruit loose activating activity of harmful enzymes (lipase and oxydase)
Currently sterilizer has several types, namely: sterilizer horizontal, vertical and oblique.
Sterilizer horizontal flat-shaped cylinders with diameters ranging from lorry capacity up to 7500 kg 1500 kg TBS, the inside of the cooking there are rails for lorries and steam spreader. While the vertical sterilizer is a vertical cylindrical tube built but not equipped with a rail lorries, the inside of the sterilizer is equipped with 2 pieces of conveyor (Archer and discharge auger) to facilitate the discharge pipe in the fruit and let boil / drain clean water. Likewise, the oblique sterilizer , no significant differences in vertical sterilizer only about 45-degree slope is only aimed at ease spending boiled ripe fruit.

Horizontal Sterilizer
Horizontal Sterilizer is commonly used throughout the palm oil mills, horizontal sterilizer door itself has a variety of single and double door. Sterilizer door has a single horizontal inflows and outflows of fruit from the same door double door while the income and expenditure palm fruit from each door. Completeness of the installation of the steam pipe steam pipe in either let, exghaust, condensate as there is no difference at all as well as the boiling system. Sterilizer has vertical steam pipe in let, exghaust, condensat, water pipes / drain clean water and other supporters of the installation. Vertical Sterilizer has 2 doors, top and bottom of the door. Door to enter the top of palm fruit which will be boiled while the bottom of the door used to remove oil palm fruit that has been boiled.
Vertical Sterilizer does not use lorries to insert / remove the fruit oil but using fruit Scrapper conveyor. Before the fruit is inserted vertically into the sterilizer, put clean water in advance to reduce the effects of collisions between oil palm fruit with construction sterilizer. Boiled palm fruits that will be carried by conveyor to the oil palm fruit into the sterilizer. Once boiled, boiled palm fruits removed by opening the door down and operate the conveyor auger and expense of fruit. And further fruit poached fruit will be carried by conveyor to a station tressher Scrapper.
